The Mission Ridge Master Planned Community covers approximately 5,000 acres in east El Paso County, Texas. The Community was Master Planned by the Texas General Land Office as a mixed use development of single and multifamily developments with commercial and retail centers. The Texas General Land Office remains an active participant in the progression of development by working cooperatively with B & G Land Management and Hunt Communities in issues related to the Master Plan Development Guidelines.
Principals of TRE & Associates, LLC have been active in the engineering support of the Mission Ridge development since 2003. The initial representation required the planning for major infrastructure requirements through the extent of the 5,000 acres and while negotiations were conducted with the El Paso Water Utilities Public Service Board regarding their options for extending water and wastewater infrastructure to serve Mission Ridge. Concurrently, negotiations were proceeding with City of El Paso Council Members to gain support for the creation of the eleven Municipal Utility Districts that overlay the majority of Mission Ridge Master Planned Community.
The Mission Ridge Community currently contains approximately 4,000 single family homes. The Principals of TRE have been instrumental in the engineering design of fifteen subdivisions which has yielded 1600 single family lots, major utility infrastructure, and a creative network of roadways and drainage faciliies that have supported the development since it was initiated in 2003.
TRE provides construction support services for the development of subdivisions within Mission Ridge. This includes the routine review of construction progress, coordination with contractors regarding requests for information, and a walk through of completed construction to confirm it meeting contract specifications.
