TRE is currently seeking a CONSTRUCTION PROJECT REPRESENTATIVE for our El Paso, Texas office to be responsible for tasks related to construction administration and project representation for TRE.Degreed civil engineer preferred, but construction related experience will be the key for the ideal candidate.The responsibilities of this job will include, but not be limited to:
- Understanding of construction contracts, bid documents and general and technical specifications related to water / wastewater utilities and land development
- Scheduling and management of pre-construction and entity construction coordination meetings
- Review, preparation and submittal of final construction documentation as required by contracts and agencies / entities
- Management and oversight of construction scheduling and rate of contract progress
- Reconciliation of quantity take-offs and preparation of opinions of probable costs
- Oversight of construction testing including water/wastewater testing for TCEQ compliance
- Preparation of client communication regarding status of construction
- Preparation of responses to contractor requests for information (RFIs)
- Coordination and meetings with clients, contractors, and TRE management for construction issues and updates
- Other duties and assigned by TRE management
Degreed civil engineer preferred, but construction related experience will be the key for the ideal candidate. Salary to commensurate with experience.

REQUIREMENTS
Job requirements include:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Familiarity with construction contract documentation and administration
- Ability to utilize Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to drive a full size pick-up truck
- Ability to walk and stand at construction site for extended periods of time (4 hrs+)
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
