TRE is currently seeking a WATER AND WASTEWATER DESIGN ENGINEER to be responsible for project management for design and permitting of water and wastewater plans and water, wastewater and drainage infrastructure for TRE’s Austin, Texas Office. These projects may include design and specifications for treatment and permitting for water and wastewater systems, water distribution, and wastewater collection. Texas licensed professional engineer, or the ability to obtain licensure within 6 months or through reciprocity, is required. The responsibilities of this job will include, but not be limited to:

• Project management for water and wastewater plant/infrastructure design

• Management and scheduling of engineering staff for design production related to water/wastewater/drainage projects

• Firm-wide technical support for design related issues to ensure sizing, regulatory compliance, and constructability

• Assistance with preparation of project specifications for construction documents

• Additional experience with site development / land development preferred

Salary to commensurate with experience.

REQUIREMENTS

Job requirements include:

TRE is currently seeking local candidates for Civil CAD Designers for our Austin, Texas office.To be considered for this position, it is preferred that the candidate has a minimum of 2 years’ experience with Civil 3D (Auto CAD).The responsibilities of this job will include, but not be limited to:

TRE is currently seeking a CIVIL E.I.T. / P.E. PROJECT MANAGER for our El Paso, Texas office to be responsible for project management in the design of street, drainage, water and wastewater plans. The responsibilities of this job will include, but not be limited to:

General understanding of the fundamentals of Civil Engineering

Ability to work well with other engineers, designers and staff in the preparation of subdivision, major utility and site development plans.

Familiarity with storm hydrologic and hydraulic modeling using HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, FlowMaster and StormCAD is preferred but not required.

Knowledgeable in hydraulics for water and wastewater design

AutoCAD Civil 3D experience is preferred but not required.

Additional experience with site development / land development preferred
